Hal J. Freiman, M.D. has been a member of Kips Bay Endoscopy Center since 2008 with expertise in Colon Cancer Screening, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease/GERD, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Colonoscopy, and Upper Endoscopy.
Dr. Freiman is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Gastroenterology Division at NYU Langone Medical Center. He specializes in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases of the digestive system and has been extensively involved in teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.

He has coauthored multiple publications in peer-reviewed medical journals. Dr. Freiman graduated from Albany Medical College and went on to do his Internal Medicine Residency at St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center of New York. He then completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at New York Medical College.
