Inessa Khaykis, M.D. has been a member of Kips Bay Endoscopy Center for 7 years and specializes in advanced procedures such as Endoscopic Ultrasonography (EUS) with FNA and Capsule Endoscopy.
Dr. Khaykis is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at New York University School of Medicine. In her private practice at Concorde Medical Group her areas of interest include screening and prevention of colon cancer, diagnosis of pancreatic and biliary diseases, management of gastric esophageal reflux disease and peptic ulcer disease.
Additionally, Dr. Khaykis received advanced training in Endoscopic Ultrasonography of pancreatobiliary diseases at the Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center. Her research has included epidemiology and prevention of infectious liver diseases; obesity and weight loss surgery outcomes; the role endoscopic ultrasonography in diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. Dr. Khaykis is a Patient's Choice Award recipient.
